What Montimin can do today
The current implementation, the evidence behind it and what still needs validation
Implemented
and being tested
Voice and text. Conversation has been tested in desktop alpha builds
Opening applications. This capability has been validated locally
Screen context and permissions. Both are implemented and under test
Study canvas. Montimin can explain a topic step by step on a whiteboard, keep building on it as you ask and save it as a PDF. It has been tried internally; the quality of its explanations has not been measured yet
Mouse and keyboard tasks. Supported interactions have passed synthetic tests. This does not establish compatibility with every Windows application or reliable operation in every real-world task
What the
demo shows
The on-screen annotation demo is a recording of Zalkap’s TeacherPen prototype, directed by an agent over Excel with sample data. The request bar is an edited overlay. It demonstrates the annotation system, not the complete Montimin application
Bringing these annotations into Montimin, validating real-world workflows and broadening Windows compatibility are next steps
Alpha available
for Windows
Montimin is Zalkap’s AI companion for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit), and an early alpha is available from its product page. It is still in development, so some features may not work as expected and things will change between updates
The development log records dated milestones. Alpha builds and local or synthetic tests do not establish compatibility with every application or task
